I delivered a public speaking presentation titled "A Decade of Dedication: Celebrating 10 Years of the Nij Mandir in Robbinsville, NJ," where I reflected on the incredible journey and spiritual impact of the mandir over the past decade. I spoke about how the mandir has become more than just a sacred space it’s a symbol of unity, devotion, and cultural pride for the community. Through personal stories, key milestones, and moments of inspiration, I shared how the mandir continues to uplift lives, deepen faith, and motivate individuals of all ages to live with purpose, seva, and spirituality.

Celebrating 10 Years of Devotion in Robbinsville

At the “10 Years of Satsang in Robbinsville” celebration, I delivered a public speaking presentation focused on how today’s generation is being increasingly affected by the negative impacts of social media. I highlighted how constant exposure to unrealistic content, comparison culture, and digital overstimulation is leading to anxiety, lower self-worth, and a disconnect from real-world relationships and experiences. My talk encouraged the audience, especially youth to become more mindful of their screen time, to protect their mental well-being, and to rediscover the value of presence, purpose, and real connection in their everyday lives.

Through heartfelt reflections and impactful prasangs, I highlighted how Mahant Swami Maharaj’s simplicity, selfless service, and quiet leadership continue to inspire millions across generations.

My talk focused on how his teachings go beyond words, shaping character, strengthening faith, and guiding individuals to live with kindness, discipline, and inner peace in today’s fast-paced world. The presentation encouraged the audience, especially youth, to apply his values in their daily lives by leading with humility, serving others, and staying rooted in spirituality.

My name is Evan Soni, and I’m a 14-year-old with a deep passion for public speaking. I’ve been stepping up to the mic since I was little, and every opportunity to speak has fueled my love for sharing ideas, inspiring others, and building confidence — both in myself and in those who listen. I truly believe that anyone can become a great speaker. All it takes is believing in yourself, being authentic, and reaching for the stars.

Beyond public speaking, I’m a creative thinker who loves exploring different skills and talents. I enjoy solving Rubik’s Cubes and teaching others how to crack the code behind them. I also spend time on video editing, turning clips into clean, engaging stories, and I love designing websites that are both functional and visually appealing. Whether I’m speaking to a crowd, solving puzzles, or creating something digital, I’m always looking for new ways to grow, express myself, and make a difference.
